My Bond is my word...

... and my word is brilliant.
Bond is back; meaner, leaner and better.
Skyfall is just what we have been waiting for.
Over two hours of non-stop action that was fun, entertaining and gripping from start to finish.
Can't wait to see it again.
No spoilers here - if you like the franchise go see it. If not, give it a chance. Cool Lips are sealed

Re: My Bond is my word...

If its as boring as Casino Royale and that other one both by the same boring actor I think I'll give this one a miss.
I think this Daniel Craig (is that his name?) is the worst Bond we've ever had. The previous two films should have been described as dramas they were so boring.

Re: My Bond is my word...

To get some measure of who played the best 007, try reading the books first. The closest was probably Pierce Brosnan, with Daniel Craig a close second although personally I prefer the latter's portrayal.
The worst: Roger Moore, who was acted off the set by several planks of wood.

I haven't kept up with the Bond movies since Connery's time.  Must make a note to bring myself up to date with them Smiley

Re: My Bond is my word...

Since there are 29 of them around, which is your favourite Bond theme tune? Mines Goldeneye. Not usually a great fan of Tina Turner and even in this her screeching in the later phrases is a bit tedious.

Re: My Bond is my word...

I wouldn't say it's my favourite but I certainly think GoldenEye is the most memorable of them all.
I would however say I liked the GoldenEye plot, tech and action a lot more than many of the other films. That helicopter and satellite were awesome! Plus it had Pierce Brosnan, that cool train in Russia, a tank oh and Sean Bean as the ultimate bad guy (anyone else notice how well he always plays those parts?).

Yes, he does it so well I was convinced he was in on the plot in Flightplan where he plays an airline captain. He can come across as quite sinister even when he's not!
