No plans to go any time soon, and even though I'll not be having a funeral service as such I have often thought of what I would have had played as my coffin disappeared behind that closing curtain. Never was religious, and although I like a good rousing hymn as much as the next man, for me it would have been something this by the infamous Woody Guthrie.
At least it might have brought a smile to some miserable faces.

I've often given this some thought since the (humanist) funeral of a friend of mine a couple of years ago.
He had a great sense of humour, and he certainly made his friends and family smile as the curtain closed to a familiar bass riff, and we all recognised the opening bars of Another One Bites the Dust.
It's not in my will yet, but SWMBO knows that I'd like Wreckless Eric's The Final Taxi.

They can play whatever they like, from a full-on disco with flashing lights, to a mongolian dirge...
won`t make a bit of difference to me... !
(I`m almost deaf now,... so when I`m gone... I won`t hear anything ! ! ! ) .

Ain't that the truth.
@Anonymous
Had that classic years ago and 'lost' it and one of those parties we used to go to - where the lads drank Party Seven and the girls would pretend to get drunk with us on Blue Nun.
As for the Strawbs I used to love this one but could never work out if they were just making fun or not!
They don't make beer like this anymore, thankfully.

I have a few of the Strawbs Albums on CD, ah! those where the days.
P.S. There's a Strawbs related joke in there.

Very apt too @198kHz and my reference was to their 1997 "Halcyon Days" album.

I always thought it was micky-take based on the hold the unions had back then but, according to Wikipedia, it wasn't
