Mugabe has left the room ! ( thread formerly known as ebagum)

ebagum  ( that`s Yokshu for MUGABE !)...

has gone on hunger strike !..(  in protest at his house arrest ).... . and will "die for what is right"   (apparently)..   this 93yr old despot, has clung on to power for 37 years... and has lived a life of luxury, while "his" people have been starving..... ( is that right  ? ? ? )  At least he may begin to understand what hunger is like, even if he is still living in luxurious quarters.....

I am sure that a good percentage of Zimbabweans will not mourn his loss, unless "forced to do so" under the new regime

Re: ebagum

Mugabe has resigned....

Seems like his hunger got the better of him......

So he wasn`t really prepared "to die for what is right"   after all.....

Re: ebagum

He's likely going to be replaced with someone who's reportedly worse

"Amid the euphoria, worth remembering the army helped Mugabe and ZANU PF to hold onto power for years by rigging elections, and attacking the political opposition. MDC MP David Coltart says the army is just cleaning "up its own mess" and must now release detained politicians'

Re: ebagum

I think the people of Zimbabwe tolerated Mugabe, but don't have the grace to tolerate his nominated successor.

Now Zen, but a +Net residue.
