Moving on out...

Well, looking through the ol' finances, and I can't sustain the Plusnet bill any longer, so, I've placed an order for Vodafone, at the behest of my senses as I don't like them, but, at £27/month for "up to" 76Mbps, phone line and a router (not that I'll use it if I don't need to), I can't ignore it, so I'm changing suppliers, dunno if I'm meant to contact Plusnet or not to say I'm off, but, I am... :undecided:

I'll probably still loiter here though, just cos I'm like a bad smell, I tend to linger...

Re: Moving on out...

Voda should do all the contacting for you, contacting PN could confuse matters.

Wouldn’t PN match the Voda price?

Dunno, didn't feel like waiting for a week for a call to be answered, stuffed up with a cold right now and, call me crazy, but, I just want things done quickly...

Re: Moving on out...

You should contact PlusNet and tell them you're off, see if they can temp you to stay. Good luck.

Re: Moving on out...

Nah, I've placed the order already so it's all in the works now, so, in 18 months (or so), I'll see what PN has to offer, assuming BT hasn't completely trashed PN by then... Smiley

Re: Moving on out...

Do not tell PN you are leaving ask them for their best price as you are looking around at other offers.

Probably a bit late now that I've announced on here that I'm taking my broadband custom elsewhere... :2funny:

As for staying in touch, like I say I'll hang around, never enjoyed the vodafone forum when I was last on there (had a Galaxy Tab 10.1 GT-P7500 with them many moons back, never got a signal on the thing!!), so I'll still be around I'm sure... :crazy3:

@twocvbloke

Are you sure you have put this post under the correct heading ?

Did you mean to put it under the heading of, 'Fake News' ?

I mean who would believe anyone would want to leave PN based on so many rewards and those caring adverts ?

Re: Moving on out...

Quite sure, I don't have a dodgy quiff and I'm not painted orange...

As for the adverts, awards and the Craig Murray fella frontman, it's like any service, they can make up any ol' rubbish and claim they're great in their ads, it's amazing the ASA isn't taking them out... :undecided:

Re: Moving on out...

Got the vodamoan router today, seems to be a Huawei HHG2500, with two FXS (VoIP phoneline) ports covered up, kind of a disappointment that, could have used the thing for having my own separate VoIP line...

Not that it'd matter, I rarely answer the phone as it is... :2funny:
