A couple of hundred yards from my home is the busy A61 dual carriageway. This afternoon I was southbound and passed a group of people on the grass by the side of the road having a drink and laying flowers on the ground. Yesterday evening a motor cyclist had collided with a Hilux vehicle and died at the scene. http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/local/motorcyclist-dies-after-collision-on-major-sheffield-road-1-7176... A few weeks previously a car was filmed power sliding around the roundabout further down the road. I've had cause to cross this road at the traffic light controlled crossing and it's not unusual for cars to speed through at red. There are two schools in the immediate area so crazy driving on this 40mph road inevitably leads to accidents. No doubt if we hear the cause of the accident it will be the Hilux driver's fault.
