Mother of 2 gets loans worth £1700 from 8 different loan companies to give her 2 kids over 100 Christmas presents, but guess who will pay off her debts?

She was a nutter.
Why borrow money when on benefits and you know you can't pay off the debt?
She's now trying to get the media to help her.  I give her no sympathy

On the basis of the reported information I'd call it fraud and she should personally deal with the consequences.

The kids will be the big losers if debt collection agencies get involved.
She is incredibly irresponsible and has been for some time.

Re: Mother of 2 gets £1700 from 8 loan companies!

Perhaps she is not that daft after all, if she does not have the money and is unlikely ever to have it the companies might just write it off but blacklist her for any future loans, they can afford to do this as they make millions of pounds in profit each year from other customers.
My main concern is the claim made by one agency in the NW who help those with debt problems said that 35% of loans taken out over the last 12 months were families who needed the money to pay for essential items like food and heating. If this is correct how will most of them ever repay the money when interest is added ?

Best advice (if she is renting) is to declare bankruptcy.
Those "payday" loan companies have it coming.

An appalling state of affairs!
And why did her little darlings need hundreds of presents anyway. No child has ever died from not having the latest gizzmo or fashion item (or lots of them). But I'm sure a few have been hurt because they've had them. And what is it teaching them - probably a view that they are entitled to what they want, when they want it!

Unbelievable. We don't spend that much (having worked for our money, and then using whatever is left after paying off the mortgage and whatnot). That amount would pay for several months of energy bills and/or food, and instead she squandered it on crap.
What I don't get is what is the point of the story. Does she expect sympathy?

All the smiling pictures give the impression that she sees help and sympathy coming by the bucket load.
Maybe somebody's told her that not only will her loans be paid off but she'll make a profit.

Re: Mother of 2 gets £1700 from 8 loan companies!

Why was she able to get all that money in the first place?
I thought they had tightened up the law on those places?Huh
But I totally agree with the comments on here, apart from the bankrupt one. Why should she get away with it, remove the presents and give the money back, IF it was obtained fraudulently. Make sure the kids know WHY this is happening as well, not just learn that they can spend spend spend and never have to pay any money back,

Something doesn't smell right about this story...  Why are all the photos of the family taken before the presents were unwrapped?  Either she'd sold her story before Christmas or it's a staged story by SWNS

Indeed it smells fishy.
Could the photos have been taken by the woman?
Maybe file pictures for identity protection?

Don't they usually state if they are file pictures or posed by models/actors?
They are too posed to be genuine pictures from Christmas. I think they are empty boxes wrapped for the photo opportunity.
