More DIY Dad

Daughters washing machine crashed, no longer working, but washing stuck inside.

Short of getting the crowbar out (and yes, I do have one) does anybody know how to override that automatic door lock. Machine is now empty of water.

PS. I did warn her this might happen, but what do Dad's know eh... other than how to get that door open!

Re: More DIY Dad

I've not checked the Google link provided, but to open my washer is simplicity itself.  There is a small flap on the front which provides access to the pump filter, which also conceals a small hidden tab which when pulled downwards releases the door.  Said tab is not visible, but requires a finger and thumb to be inserted upwards to feel for it just behind the front panel, so unless you know it's there ...  Roll_eyes
