Re: Mobile Phone Coverage

Not sure how helpful it is...
Although it shows a pretty decent signal for EE (which I'm on) and half decent for O2 (SWMBO) it can't take into account the property you live in and the signal is extremely poor in doors to the point that nobody can hear me when they finally get through and texts can take a long time before getting sent/received. Step a few feet from the front door and no problems!

Re: Mobile Phone Coverage

I think it's just indicative of coverage. You can't expect them to take property into account Wink

Re: Mobile Phone Coverage

Same here Journeys nil coverage for over 30 miles either direction! Pure nonsense we get great 3g signal with all the networks apart from Vodafone.

Re: Mobile Phone Coverage

Must have been affected by DM accuracy though, they say I can't get 3G via Three here, if that were true I'd presently be offline as I'm using said 3G (well, HSPA+, one notch below 4G) to get online cos the ADSL is too slow to be useful, that and it's got my PS3 connected to it aswell... Grin

Re: Mobile Phone Coverage

Completely innacurate map.
Reckon it only shows coverage where it gets paid to show.

Re: Mobile Phone Coverage

Not even close for me!
According to the chart I can get 2G, 3G and 4G only from O2 at a download rate of 1.41 Mbps whilst the map shows no coverage for any service.
In practice you may get 2g from all 4 major networks with a performance level (differing by provider) calculated by Magic and whether there's an 'R' in the month Lips are sealed
