Mind the gap

Fellow commuters free man stuck in the gap between the platform and the train.
Quote
A MAN had to be freed after getting trapped between a train and platform at a Perth station this morning.
The commuter’s leg got stuck at Stirling Station about 8.50am causing a delay for the city-bound train.

The irony wasn't lost by the fact he was right by the 'Mind the gap' sign Roll eyes

Re: Mind the gap

I imagine if you showed someone the picture of a load of people pushing on the side of a train and asked that person what the people were doing they wouldn't have a clue Undecided

Re: Mind the gap

If that happened here they'd have to turn of the leccy, call a health and safety consultant, take photos of the scene and the man still in place, consult their legal department, clear the platform of passengers, clear the train, cancel the service, annoy a lot of people, quote health and safety and railway bylaws and finally get slated in the media.
How refreshing to see the ozzies just get on with it.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Re: Mind the gap

The first thing that would happen here is that he would be surrounded by people recording on their mobiles.
That was one of the most surprising things about the video. No people just standing with their phones in hand.

Re: Mind the gap

Protesters annoyed at the delay in rail services try to roll train off the tracks.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Re: Mind the gap

Train breaks down and commuters from the train behind push it out of the way.
