Re: Merry Christmas 2016

That sounds like my method: Merry everything. There's no set end date, either, so if I forget later, this covers it.
Speaking of years, why do we get so excited about the number at the end of the date? It's not as if this is a celestially important transition anyway. That happened on the 21st December if we're looking for meaning and pope Gregory needed a good smack with the cluebat.
Just an excuse to frighten my poor dogs with yet more sodding fireworks, if you ask me. They don't care what year it is  Tongue

Re: Merry Christmas 2016

4x christmas movies on the 21st of August, thank goodness I've left my TV aerial unplugged!!! Infact I may just remove it (it's a home-made dipole mounted on my shelves seeing as I'm only about 2 miles or so from Pontop Pike), no point having that up if I'm not using it... Tongue
