Memory playing up

Just sat with a bottle of wine and enjoyed "Hunchback of Notre Dam" on iPlayer. I somehow remembered Charles Laughton actually saying ‘the bells! the bells!’, but he didn't Undecided
Wonder how many other famous miss-quotes there are?

Funny you should mention that, at a family gathering last week the same topic was brought up. One with a PC on, turned up page after page of misquotes on Google. However it was noticeable that the same dozen or so were quoted time and time again. But I won't spoil your thread by linking any.
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.
