Mars landing

Was just reading about successful Mars landing and the article mentioned the high failure rate since Russians first landed a probe there back in 1960.
This one amused me.

In September 1999, the Mars Climate Orbiter spacecraft crashed into the Red Planet following a navigation error caused when technicians mixed up "English" (imperial) and metric units.

As the lander was called Phoenix I suppose bird references were, however, allowable.

Well I think it is very tasteful, a bit like mine really...
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.
