Depends what the competition is...
I do find it amusing you had to moderate your own post though Wink

The competition is outlined in the post above mine.

I can get you a pseudo-scientific study on pirates vs knights if you like? Given that Ninjas lost to Spartans (BOO! No chance!) I suspect they'd have had very little chance against the pirates, with their advanced gunpowder weapons.

Re: Mankind vs Zombies

Ninja's losing to Spartans?  I demand scientific evidence on this subject!  Pirates vs Knights.  If we were to conclude that the Knights were Samurai, then the Samurai would beat the Pirates, and as Ninja can beat Samurai then Ninja can beat Pirates.  Of course, Sinbad was a pirate and he would be able to beat Spartans, and as a Ninja could beat Sinbad then... I'm lost  Crazy

Well... as I said it's pseudo-science but it sure was entertaining. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deadliest_Warrior#Episode_3:_Spartan_vs_Ninja
I like your reasoning, but I can't equate knights to samurai I'm afraid.

Re: Mankind vs Zombies

I totally disagree with that Viking vs Samurai, the Samurai wouldn't use just slashing shots, he would use thrusts at the neck too (which are sort of banned in Kendo because they are dangerous to the opponent so should only be used by experts against experts) which would have to be blocked.
A knight would be analogous to a samurai though, the samurai being the Japanese version of a knight rather than the tutonic variety we're used to.
Ninja vs Zombie, I'm sure there is an anime about that somewhere Cheesy

They are showing that on Bravo at the moment!
Spartan vs Ninja was the first episode shown last week - dunno why they are doing it out of order.
