MPs’ expense claims shredded

"THE House of Commons has shredded more than 1m documents detailing expenses claims by MPs that were due to be revealed to the public." http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/politics/article4087705.ece
Obviously it’s completely accidental that so many documents got destroyed – isn’t it?
Will they or their leader(s), or the Speaker of the House, be called to account?
Yes, and pigs might fly!

Re: MPs’ expense claims shredded

If I worked in the Inland Revenue and was in a nasty frame of mind I would start an investigation of some MP's and demand records going back 6 years

Re: MPs’ expense claims shredded

Not that they have to give receipts for expenses in the first place!
One rule for the MPs and one for the commoner, once again...
