MPs at it Again

First we had the MPs' expenses scandal which so far has seen 3 labour MPs and a Tory Lord charged.  At the weekend we saw 3 ex Labour ministers selling their services for up to £5000 a day to influence government decisions.  Last night the BBC exposed more than 20 MPs from all parties who accepted free trips around the world and then asked parliamentary questions on behalf of their host countries without declaring their interest.

What more is there to find out about this totally discredited parliament?  A complete disgrace Angry

Re: MPs at it Again

Not to mention the free overseas trips that have happened 400 times it seems. By pure coincidence of course these trips are often in sun and sea destinations...all in the name of research of course!!
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

Yes, there was one MP who found it necessary to have an annual visit to Cyprus Undecided Undecided

I always thought the Blair's were the arch freebie researchers.

I don't think anyone would get near them on the freebie trail - and I bet there's a lot we don't even know about.

Re: MPs at it Again

paul thomas of glamorgan university is on a quest to ban bosses.  guerrilla gardeners are taking over the spare patches of ground in glasgow and other towns and cities.  many other initiatives are putting into practise what the government mumbles about, but does nothing.  government as currently constituted is counter-productive to our welfare.  let's get rid of it and put in place something that works.
