Lewis Collins dies

Professionals star Lewis Collins has died
Quote
The Professionals star Lewis Collins has died aged 67, his agent said.
The actor, who played Bodie in the crime drama alongside co-star Martin Shaw, died in Los Angeles yesterday after a five-year struggle with cancer.

I still enjoy the re-runs of the professionals on ITV4.

A sad loss and at such an early age.

I remember it was quite a shock to see Gordon Jackson in the role of George Cowley after his stint as Hudson in Upstairs Downstairs.

Same here when I saw Dr McCoy (Star Trek) playing Dredd in the remake.

Ditto Sad
Bit of a surprise, in a way that Lewis Collins has gone first - Martin Shaw always appear far more delicate .. to the point where he didn't quite cut the mustard as an 'action hero'

Yes, a great programme in its day which had three fine actors. I agree Lewis could have been bond. Shame we didn't get to see much of him in recent years.

I have most of them on DVD, Collins should have been Bond in 007
Bodie and Doyle were 'the Beatles' of TV
