Latest offer - Commercial suicide?

Plusnet are running a Black Friday offer (for a week!) - 12 months free ADSL Unlimited broadband and £75 cashback on a 12 months contract.  Even allowing for the blatant cross subsidy of the profit made on the line rental charge, surely this can't actually make any money?
More offers underwritten by existing customers and no money left to invest in support - Not the way I'd choose to run a business!

Re: Latest offer - Commercial suicide?

It shows that there must be a lot of profit in the line rental.
And that the definition of "Free" is open to widely varying interpretations.

Re: Latest offer - Commercial suicide?

just because your paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you
