Last year's Alton Towers incident.

From the H&S Executive..  sound a bit expensive!
Neil Craig, head of operations for HSE in the Midlands said:
We have today informed Merlin Attractions Operations Ltd that it will be prosecuted for breaching health and safety law.
This was a serious incident with life-changing consequences for five people.
We have conducted a very thorough investigation and consider that there is sufficient evidence and that it is in the public interest to bring a prosecution.
It is possible that additional uninsured costs and, depending on the outcome of the HSE investigation, financial penalties may be incurred.

Re: Last year's Alton Towers incident.

This was a sad incident for those people injured on the day.
@nozzer, As I understand it this is a corporate prosecution and not one against individual members of the Merlin board. Is that as you see it?

Yes I think so, the Company rather than individuals.
