Re: LOL

That's just plain bonkers, you couldn't make it up.  Funny

A float tip is pleasing in its appearance and even more pleasing in its disappearance.

Re: LOL

Worse part of this story is that BOTH drivers had NO insurance and were driving, the 2nd one while DRUNK!
Lock them up and throw the key away I say.

Re: LOL

A friend of mine years ago, said there was someone who had his license taken away - think it was drink driving.

Had to report to the police station.

Also got done for driving without a license too. How?

He drove there to report in Crazy2

Re: LOL

A family friend of ours drove for years on a provisional licence.

She thought the 'provisional' bit meant she couldn't use it outside of the UK.

She was eventually stopped on an unrelated matter and asked to show a police officer her licence.

He was quite surprised.

The irony being that if it was a dailymail article that is exactly what most here would be suggesting Crazy3

Re: LOL

Moons ago I lived next door to a couple in their early 50s who would get drunk every night. They were very nice people though and were always inviting me over for a BBQ.

He was very generous with his lifts too. He also offered to teach me to drive which was nice of him though i never took him up on it.

The trouble is though that one day his missus 'fessed up and claimed that he didn't actually have a licence and never had had one since he learnt to drive in his teens - 30 odd years previously Shocked

I assumed it was a joke at the time but a few months later after moving away i saw him at a bus stop and said hi. He said he wasn't driving anymore due to glitch Undecided
