Keyboard Problem.

While reading a few posts in the new forum something came to mind which made me smile.
A few short years ago I was employed as the IT guy at an engineering company.
While having my working lunch I received a call from the Sales Manager that his computer had gone mad.
When I went into his office he was frantically tapping keys in an apparent attempt to stop endless space characters appearing in the email he was composing.
I separated his plate of lunch from the keyboard space bar and left him suitably embarrassed to send his email and get back to his lunch.

Yep problem lies between the keyboard and the user.

I fixed my keyboard by putting my sandwich on a plastic picnic plate.

Seems like he was too spaced out to see the key solution for himself.    Cheesy

I was trying to dislodge a morsel from under the left-hand shift key. I was tapping furiouslyy away when a message popped up which said, "Do you want to turn on Sticky Keys?". I could then be heard shouting, "No! I've already booldy well got one!"

Re: Keyboard Problem.

Coke used to be the big problem if our trading floor users got it on their keyboards. It made the keystrokes unpredictable.

Re: Keyboard Problem.

I suppose those bankers have to spend their bonuses on something !  Shocked

Are you sure it was the coke in the keyboard being the problem, rather than the user being high and mis-keying ?  Crazy
