KFC spokesman said it was a misunderstanding and is not company policy

[quote= http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2773566/KFC-customer-told-t-wet-wipe-halal-branch-contains-alcohol-offend-Muslim-diners.html]A customer was refused a wet wipe in a halal-only branch of KFC because they are soaked in alcohol and might offend Muslim diners.
Graham Noakes was visiting a branch of the fast food chain in St George's Retail Oark, Leicester, when he asked to use a wet wipe.

As pointed out in the article
They are now allowed in the store
It makes me think how Management was either ill informed or got their facts wrong
This is to highlight the bad management skill(s) & mis-information down the chain to the costumer & not a debate about halal meat as that was previously discussed (so please keep on topic or do not post at all)

Re: KFC spokesman said it was a misunderstanding and is not company policy

lots of staff in fast food joints are poorly trained and are often told the wrong thing, sometimes though they deliberately misinform customers to cover up the truth that they got the wrong side of the stick or failed to order the requested item in and subsequently run out, I've asked for tings over the years just to be told some whoppers by people who don't understand the simple truth "if it don't sound right, it aint right" ......
just because your paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you
