Just a quicky

I expect this should be posted elsewhere but, does anybody remember the dial code that reveals the phone number on a mobile phone?
I've just put a new PAYG SIM in an old mobile phone, and can't remember the number, so at the moment I can't put any credit on it.
Ta!

Re: Just a quicky

Can you ring your land line number? If so, just ring your land line number (but don't answer it) then dial 1471 on the landline.

Re: Just a quicky

New SIM - isn't the number tied to the SIM not the phone?

Re: Just a quicky

You can also try looking in the phone settings and look for phone settings and see if you can find your number that way, Would help if you tell us what network and what make of mobile it is? If its vodafone just dial *#100# and your number will appear on screen
Edit.. Look for something like handset information and it should tell you the mobile number.

I have more telephone numbers than you could shake a stick at.
However when I read "Just  a Quicky" I was expecting a tale of intimate brevity. Roll eyes

Re: Just a quicky

Because of a couple of other threads I misread the title of this topic - I thought it was Just a quacky
