You should have guessed given the posters usual source for this sort of thing http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2489831/What-load-jobbledygook-The-ridiculous-job-titles-dre...

OJ does it really matter if PCUK quotes from the DM? - or anywhere?
I thought that was the whole point of forums / communication tech - people share info, knowledge, jokes etc.
Whats the problem here? - I seriously don't get it.

Re: Jobbledygook

Nobody suggested it mattered.
It was a statement of fact replying to the question

Re: Jobbledygook

Ok thats fair enough but the commenting every week about PCUK quoting from the DM is getting a bit old now don't you think?

Re: Jobbledygook

There's a bit of a "stigma" about the Daily Mail in general IMO, its readers are hated across most of the Internet, reviled as racists, homophobes and in general, not very nice people.

Re: Jobbledygook

Yeah but when has PCUK ever said anything bad, nasty or offensive? - Thats what I don't get.
There are a few 'grumps' around here I could understand being disliked and given my past that includes me however I don't see what the issue is here with PCUK.

Re: Jobbledygook

I like the Daily Mail for it's photographic content, (once you ignore all the scantily clad women) but yes, the articles are often no-nos.
But.... there are also good ones, when they get their facts correct that is !
My sources also include the Daily Express, Times, Mirror, Sun, Guardian, SKY News & BBC websites.
Usually from RSS Feeds.
Plus Local Radio and TV

Which is often overlooked when it suits other posters !!
I am usually on the internet midnight to 3am, dealing with my businesses In Hong Kong & America, so often get an early notification of RSS Feeds.
Some, just don't like being pipped at the post in starting new threads IMHO...
I post threads then, in between SKYPE and phone calls to other time zones !

Re: Jobbledygook

I was prompted to Google "Jobbledygook" by a Local Radio programme  Wednesday evening
The thread starter was a compilation of several sources, just compare my list, you will note many differences.

Note that my Thread starter Post was submitted and published before the Mail  printed their article

Re: Jobbledygook

I read and frequently quote from the DM and am not ashamed to admit it, either Smiley
Like most newspapers you have to sort the chaff from the wheat and take a lot of what's printed with a grain of salt.
I also enjoy reading quotes posted from other papers be they national or local even if I don't post a response to them.

I've just checked my RSS feeds for the 6th and 7th of November, neither the Mail nor Express articles appeared in my RSS feeds !!
