Job Websites

What job websites are popular these days? I looked on Monster recently, but it's not very good these days. I've tried Jobserve and Reed.co.uk any recomendations for IT jobs?

Re: Job Websites

I noticed last night, that I still get my email alerts from the iC network, specifically iCLiverpool.
I don't know if it is still packed with jobs like it used to be, but the fact I still get a load of alerts suggests it might be.

Re: Job Websites

http://www.graduatesyorkshire.co.uk/ was pretty good last time I was hunting, but I had better luck by searching for companies with offices in the area and then contacting them directly.

Re: Job Websites

Cheers guys.
Also I'm wondering if anyone can recommend anywhere which specifically deals in short term (i.e couple of days or a week) IT contract work?

I am a great fan of Jobserve but I am also now using Jobsite that seems quite good.  I have never found Monster useful for finding jobs but if registered you do get calls from agencies so probably worth staying with them. CW jobs also useful.

I also used to use Jobsite.co.uk and received loads of emails and updates from them. I do recommend them.
It may also be an idea to go with www.reed.co.uk as they are a temping agency.

Cheers guys. Nice how the PlusNet staff make sure they use past tense in thier recommendations Smiley
As for looking at Plusnet, I'll give it a miss, but too much like extra hard work...

Re: Job Websites

I'm not sure about IT jobs but Fish is a good search engine, especially as it includes all the jobs that are carried in a lot of local papers.
