Re: JR Dies

His mother was musical star Mary Martin and they appeared together in South Pacific at Drury Lane.  They also appeared together on the Royal Variety Show but he will always be remembered for his part in Dallas.

Re: JR Dies

Very sad.
Dallas is, perhaps, my favourite TV program which I still watch on CBS Drama and enjoyed the recent reboot although it was clear that all was not well with Hagman Sad
JR was such an iconic figure - the man everyone loved to hate.
Larry Hagman was also excellent in I Dream of Jeannie - very funny.
Apparently he, along with Patrick Duffy, played high-jinx on the set of Dallas. There's a funny gag reel on YT with a great spoof on the Who Shot JR theme but it does contain some explicit language so haven't posted a link.

Re: JR Dies

Seems Kristen Shepard may have a lot to answer for after all... Cry
Larry Hagman was a lifelong practical joker and would probably have appreciated that. RIP.
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.
