It's my lucky day...

First of all I log into my bank account to see a nice tidy sum from the Open University as my next module has just started then I get the following by email:
Quote
Dear <email address>,
This email confirms that you have received a payment for 505.70 GBP from Hall906@homestead-india.com

Receipt ID: 0252-7964-0480-4830

The number above is the buyer's receipt ID for this transaction. Please retain it for your records so that you will be able to reference this transaction for customer service.

I just have to click the link further in the email to get all the details Crazy
They have a correct email for me (wonder where they got that from) but it's not the one I use with PayPal Wink
Any ideas what I can spend the 505.70 GBP on?

Re: It's my lucky day...

Apparently I've just sold one of them as well, but only got £153.70.
I forwarded the first one to spoof@payal.com is it worth sending this one as well?

Ditto, I have made about £10,000 with all the paypal items I have sold today. I don't even have Paypal.
Are all these spam emails going to your email addresses you set up with PN, as mine are.

Re: It's my lucky day...

My luck has continued into today...
Received a call from Barclays regarding a complaint I made at the start of this year after finding out that, after registering my Power of attorney for mum with them, I could no longer actually have access to my own accounts over the phone Crazy
Apparently there was a marker on my accounts telling them that only third party access was allowed but no details of who the third party may be Huh
They still don't know why it happened but she said it's corrected (haven't checked it out yet, though) and I have been given a £100 credit to my current account for the delay in resolving it.

Re: It's my lucky day...

Can Barclays afford that these days?
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

Re: It's my lucky day...

Don't often check my spam email when away from home but just did and had around 20 more that I'd sold. Decided not to tally them all up but just wait till the money drops into my account Roll eyes
