It's Spring again

No excuses....

You may be self isolated, but now it's a great time to sort out the garden, do a thorough Spring cleaning, sort out your wardrobe, do some batch cooking, and spend quality time with your loved ones whilst all isolated together.

Make those phone calls you've been meaning to make for ages.

Plus so many other things you've been meaning to do.

The Weather is quite nice outside, so forget the Cabin Fever, and get some fresh air !

Or home delivery of booze !

Plus, lots of other contained activities.....

Re: It's Spring again

@Lægen  What! It's raining, pouring even. I'll wait for a better day. At least the fence panels and the new posts are looking good!

Besides, those birds, insects etc might be carrying CV-19. Would you advise wearing a mask as I potter around? What do I do if a neighbour starts to have a chat over the fence. Do I run indoors, tell them to go get lost etc? Answers on a postcard.......! But do use Dettol before posting it! 😁

@idonno  Im sure I read somewhere that Noravirus is not one of the 99% of all known germs that dettol  kills so probaby will not help!

By the way I did wash my hands for 20 secs before I typed this post!!! Evil😉

Re: It's Spring again

Another Glorious day again.

And it's Easter in a weeks time.

No doubt the "I don't care" brigade will be out, setting fire to Winter Hill grassland with their portable BBQ's. Idiots

There does seem to be more Police about. Book 'em Danno.

We shall be Self Isolated in our Garden, having done a pre-Easter Shop, to be followed by a post-Easter Shop

Gardening jobs to do.

You should take a leaf out of the Government's book and exercise more control over your family. Cheesy

I’ve cleaned the outside windows, fist time since we bought the house over 20 years ago. A job I usually leave to the ever changing British weather. If this is an indicative time scale then it will also be the last time....

Re: It's Spring again

A lovely day today. Nudged 20C and sunny. Bit windy though. I decided to sort out the other set of fence posts this afternoon, as it's obvious something isn't quite right with them since the last storm. They've been waving about every time the wind gets up. Took the panels off the first one and well, spent a good couple of hours playing around. Post had snapped clean off at the bottom. Only another 3 more to go.

While out there my neighbour sneaked out to his shed. Certainly has his priorities right as he carried some beer back to the house! Didn't say a word though.
