At 101 years old he doesn't drink water http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30100-1312695,00.html so has organised beer stops to provide liquid intake during the marathon

and yes, lot fitter than a lot of people half his age!  be interesting to see how long he takes to get round!

Just have to see how long it takes to die down....usually about 24hrs Undecided

It's far too fast for that - an half marathon is about 20.5km so he would have done about 14.5km in 27 mins (about 20 miles per hour)
