Pretty standard trick, sell it cheap the first nn months then up to full price again.
Just scaremongering by the DM again.

Re: Is this accurate or another scare tactic?

It appears to be accurate or perhaps they are confused

The main site shows

2016-06-01_094234.jpg

2016-06-01_094448.jpg

which is a lot lower than the standard prices given here http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/products/lib/pdf/BT_PhoneTariff_Residential.pdf and is the tariff guide

I can't see anything on the page which specifically states that the prices will rise after 12 months and the standard tariff guide doesn't have the unlimited products shown so may not be relevant

Re: Is this accurate or another scare tactic?

As a BT Shareholder I must say it is reasonable behaviour. As a customer I only rent one of my lines from BT, they don't get calls/nor Broadband custom from me.

Now Zen, but a +Net residue.
