OK, you guys... how about a nice 3 wheeler car, that drives like a sports car on a race track?  and mutates into a chopper within minutes you are above the traffic jams !...

Very cool, but I think I'd prefer one of these!

Sorry Mav... but it would be no use on the M25 carpark.... you need a runway to use it....
however.. MY car... ... .... ..... whilst everyone else is sitting in their car waiting for the jam to clear... you just extend all the bits and fly off vertically... ( Well that`s the theory ! ! ! )...
( you may need a bit of a run )....

if it had more rotor blades on the main rotor then maybe, the problem is with only two its a proper bone shaker, you'd be in hospital with carpel tunnel syndrome by the time you cleared the m25 carpark on the way into work.....
its not a bad idea but there have been better versions of this in the past that also failed to achieve mainstream sales on the grounds you needed a class 1 pilots licence to buy them and if you've spent the 30k+ to get the licence your not going to use a flying brick when there's far better options out there .....
if there serious about selling them they will need to be offering the vehicle complete with training package for less than 30k, and lets be honest it probably costs more than 100k to make it (production line not R & D price) a great innovation but not really a viable vehicle
just because your paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you

A seasoned heli pilot might fancy one of these as a 'fun runabout'.
