Is it Christmas now?

Just got back from shopping and as I'm walking down our little street I find that 4 are totally decorated up for Christmas...yes...including lights, trees and even Christmas wreaths on the doors. Christmas? 3 weeks into November? Bit early for me but whatever lights your candles.  Undecided

No, it's not christmas, it' snot gotten to the 12 days of christmas, so there is no christmas yet...

And besides, the winter solstice is more of a reason to celebrate...Crazy

And which of these holidays will you be celebrating on Jan 6th?

6 Jan 2017 - January 6, 2017 - Today's holidays are Apple Tree Day, Bean Day, Cuddle Up Day, Epiphany, National Shortbread Day, National Smith Day, ...Roll eyes

@Pete11

National shortbread Day sounds good.

I chose the 6th as, traditionally, the decorations should be down by then.

Re: Is it Christmas now?

Or you could start the whole 'festive season' again by celebrating Russian Orthodox Christmas Eve on the 6th January and Christmas Day on the 7th.

We've chosen our Christmas tree... it is still in the ground and "growing"

She who must be obeyed. Has told me it's Christmas.......... That dam Coca-Cola truck. She says it's Christmas when the coke Xmas truck appears on telly...... But personally I think she needs to get a life. Saying that she does watch X factor and that other [-Censored-] programme I'm a celebrity get me outta here. Glad I work nights
