Is Plusnet a public or private company

I know PN are part of the BT group of companies but are they a stand alone company regarding shareholders ?

Irrespective of the answer to the above if you purchased shares in the company how many shares would you need to gain access to shareholder meetings ?

Anyone know ?

Re: Is Plusnet a public or private company

It is a PLC and all the issued shares are owned by BT Group according to this filing at Companies House https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/document-api-images-prod/docs/C3HcnUszK6pa-T2tNi-gqHc_8YtH4xq4NlR...

Look at companies house for all the reports https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/03279013

Looking at the bottom of the page, they are a plc- Public Limited Company. Are shares traded on the LSE - if so there should be information available under that listing - I  think.
