Inventive thoughts!!

I wish...
That some boffin would invent, for when I want mash a self-peeling spud, better still a skinless potato!! But not all them cos I like to eat the skin of JP's and baby-new...
You would have thought that in this advanced age this problem would have been overcome by now. What would you give your eye-teeth for to make life easier?

Re: Inventive thoughts!!

Think you rather missed the point of my OP, see the second paragraph.
Lighten up pierre, it was only meant to amuse, there's enough doom and gloom.

I'd like an easier to open inner bag in packs of cereal like corn flakes. I always seem to end up with an unsatisfactory job. Angry

I'd also like a freezer that knew what you wanted to take out and automatically put it at the front/top of the tray ready rather than it always being at the back and having to rummage around  Angry

Re: Inventive thoughts!!

I'd like to see overcoats available at the entrance to the chilled food area at my local Tesco.
When I go shopping for cheese and butter on a nice day, by the time I have what I need I'm shivering.

Have you tried piercing the lid with a skewer before trying to turn it?

Put a hand towel on the work top.... invert the jam jar, and ban the jar lid  "smartly & squarely" on to the (towel) on the  work top, .... then try to open it in the normal manner.
