Internet Trolls face two years prison in UK

Would Strat have to wear a sheriff;s star if the proposed legislation is enacted?
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

From some of the statements published by the press on what  messages Trolls have sent to people it makes you wonder exactly what goes on in their minds as it can only be a reflection of what they are really like.

Looks more like good intentions that will end up as more internet censorship by the back door.
Who gives a damn about a bit of name calling. Obviously not Chris Grayling with his "baying cyber-mob" speech.
Death threats and the like are already covered in law. Adding to this is just an appeasement to pander to the fragile ego's of a few twitter mad celebs.

Quite so.
Trolls only feed and survive on attention; ignored, they just curl up and die.

Re: Internet Trolls face two years prison in UK

This is something I used to tell my daughter when she was getting some quite vitriolic messages on FaceBook over the last couple of years.
Each time she replied either defending herself or giving back more of the same things just escalated. It seems the younger generation simply must reply no matter what the consequence Shocked
