Interesting takeoff strategy.

What I would like to know is if this thing needs "stabilisers" to keep the wingtips off the ground when it takes off, what do they do for landing? Run alongside and slide them under? Cheesy

EDIT: oops. Wrong clip posted. Correct one now showing. Sorry about that! Smiley

Re: Interesting takeoff strategy.

Try this one... and see what the ground crew do to "level up the plane"

Re: Interesting takeoff strategy.

Crikey! So it does actually rest on one wingtip for a while. I suppose the pilot has to keep it level until it's fully stationary.

Re: Interesting takeoff strategy.

Landing one of those in any sort of a cross wind must be a no no.

And watching it landing reminded me of the few times I had a go in a glider.
