Re: Interesting colour perception test

Had a quick go and managed a 4.
Will anyone achieve a perfect 0?

Best I could do was 8 (4 year old laptop - not a calibrated monitor).

Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

Re: Interesting colour perception test

Well I managed a perfect 0 on my proper monitor at work (nothing fancy - Dell 19") seems to suggest that monitor quality (compared to my Laptop) has soemething to do with the result.

Re: Interesting colour perception test

X-rite are well known for their colour management software (even though it's very basic stuff that they are doing but selling at a high price). The test is nothing more than a way to show that people's displays are not 'calibrated' in the right way as to show the discrete changes in colour chroma.

could improve with patience

After you chuck the  similar colours to each end it does get a bit time consuming and tedious doing the final sort .
If it was time limited then it would become a real test. Then we would see some really high scores.
