And if you do take your Granny to Ibiza make sure you remember to take her home unlike that american couple who left a very confused relative here.

... and for the return trip arrive in at London City airport in a BAe-146. The approach angle is steeper than most airports and you have water either side of the wings as you land. It feels almost like a Military landing. Great for a nervous Gran. Just don't tell her how short the runway is compared to Heathrow. The BAe-146 needs 997 of the 1199 Metres runway length to land.

Indeed, I flew into there last year on my way back from Brittany and crikey, it was steep - I'm sure I was putting my foot on the brake!

It's 1350 metres according to this captain, and she only uses about half of it!
