If you don’t pay your bills, you could be banned from leaving the UK

Ah the fair and equal society, I guess it won't be long before we can't leave the country at all unless we build amphibious vehicles and sail over to Ireland or France Cuban-style to escape the communistic tyranny that seems to be gradually building up in this nation... Roll eyes

They would be better off using this to fine foreign drivers who currently get off scot free. No collection of Dartford crossing fees, fines not issued to foreign countries. Get 'em before they board at Dover!!
