Icebreakers

A nice game called Icebreakers.
The point of the game is to tell 2 truths about yourself and 1 lie.  The other person has to find which is the lie.
So i'll start off -
I'm a Geordie
I have a job in the computer industry
I have an interest in aviation

Re: Icebreakers

Forum name suggests you are a Geordie
You have contributed to the 'missing airliner' thread.
Your ISP is BT.
Conclusion - your second fact is a lie.  Undecided

Re: Icebreakers

I'm thinking Geordie is too obvious and therefore the lie - maybe a Mackem?

Referring to another recent thread - I rarely look at sig graphics, so hadn't noticed.

I'd go for "collect calculators" as false.

Re: Icebreakers

I waited a while to see if anyone would get the right answer -
which is -
"I travel almost exclusively by bus" is the lie.
I'm happily married, for 43 years, and the star of the calculator collection is a Sinclair LED.

Re: Icebreakers

But the answer is just guesswork ? for instance which is the incorrect answer in my case ?
1. I Have never played golf in my life.
2. I live in Scotland.

Re: Icebreakers

@Gleneagles........difficult one, I'd say you told an untruth in that all 3 are false.
Remember something about keep your golf clubs in a locked cupboard
and you couldn't use your bus pass  in scotland

Re: Icebreakers

Well you are correct in saying that I mentioned a bus pass could not be used in Scotland but you are incorrect about the golf clubs, I suspect that you associated the term Gleneagles with golf but I have never played or ever wanted to play golf.  Smiley
