I made a spectacle of myself :P

This time,
I have ended up with Silk emulsion splatters, on my glasses,
Silly me forgot to take my glasses off when doing the 1st coat
What do you find is the best way to clean paint off of glasses
I use MGFL (Mild Green Fairy LipSquid)

& then for future reference
For gloss paint ?Huh

White spirit but wipe it on and off, never let it dry and impregnate any lens to frame spacers if you have any or the fumes will go for your eyes obviously

Re: I made a spectacle of myself :P

depends on the lens coating but normally lint free cloth, remove lens from frame and use the alcohol based lens cleaner fluid before reassembling them, normally though I wear goggles or a face shield visor so I don't end up looking like Mr Blobby  Wink

Got some, however, rarely use them for painting, unless spray painting

I didn't put it in the way... the power tool decided to escape my firm grip and go hunting. I should have learnt from the first time when I was under the car, it shot off, danced around the floor and then stopped right next to my head  Shocked
Did I learn? Did I ****!

Despite the splinter piercing a tendon, StreetfighterXD said he didn’t feel any pain.
The shard was removed under local anaesthetic and had to be taken out the long way too because tiny little spikes were preventing it from going back out the way it came. Ouch!
