Scottish Power Indian Call Centre !!

My experience of foreign (Indian and Philippines) call centres of poor grasp of English, colloquialisms, foreign call operators called "Sue" or "Dave", and ...... Where is Manchester !!
Hello Mr First Name, etc, etc.... leads me to cancel any contracts or dealings with companies that operate Foreign Call Centres.
I've never had a good experience yet with foreign call centres, having to repeat everything, on both sides several times.

However, to a Mancunian.... Leeds and Glasgow Call Centres can seem like foreign countries !!
But with really nice accents, thinking of First Direct, based in Leeds, but also with an overflow call centre in Glasgow.
Plusnet seem to have fairly neutral accents, as least the Tech staff do.
And the nice thing about both companies is...... the responding Operator is able to deal with the matter in hand, without being passed from pillar to post.
