I had similar frustration the other day.
The missus in hospital, me trying to get videos / photos of 7up jnr from main computer onto netbook so she could see them and do you think windows file sharing would work? No, absolutely not. It suddenly decided that it was the right time to drop dead and refuse file access to any machine on the network.
Multiple restarts later, it finally realised that i was not giving up and decided to play ball. Took me ages to do such a simple task. Very frustrating.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!
