I am saying nowt on the grounds that I wouldn't dare

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-dorset-28462588
Quote
Mr Justice Bean said the division of labour between them "was as it might have been in the 1950s".
He said: "Mrs Knauer managed the household. She cleaned, cooked, changed the beds, laundered and ironed clothes, did the shopping and walked the dogs.
"In addition, she decorated the house when necessary, and tended to the garden."
<snip>
The judge said Mr Knauer, a business development manager, "did the occasional tasks such as bathroom repairs but little more than that".
Mr Justice Bean said he accepted Mr Knauer's evidence that Mrs Knauer "was extremely house-proud and would spend three hours on these tasks on a typical weekday and more than that on Saturdays and Sundays".

As a North East comedian once said....
Our mam used to call our dad a lazy, idle, good for nothing.
For years I thought that was a trade Undecided

To this day SWMBO still asks why I haven't done something she requested me to do, 6 Months or more ago Tongue
some things like wallpapering (although I am more than capable of doing so) I really don't like doing it so I'll put it off as long as I can, in the hope she will choose painted walls instead Wink

Re: I am saying nowt on the grounds that I wouldn't dare

For me it's a state of mind, no good keep pestering me to do something otherwise I am almost certain to make a bodge of it but in the right frame of mind I can actually enjoy doing something, next on the list is to change the Oil & Filter on the car, not a big job but I'm not in the right frame of mind today, must be the hot weather.
