Re: -I, I, 2, 3,10,11,T,L,i

I still think my answer of dance steps would have made more sense based on the answer given irrespective of if socks were worn or not.

Assuming your brain has recovered from reading this rubbish here is another one for you.

OOOTTAFAGPSH

Clues:

It will be recognised by thousands, maybe millions of people.

All english words, no numbers or maths involved.

It's a mnemonic.

And no need to wait until next Friday for the answer it's on the internet

Yes I know it's rubbish but this topic has been nothing but rubbish.

:laugh:

@gleneagles

That used to represent the 12 cranial nerves when I was a lad. The only problem is that I can't remember what the individual letters stand for!

@gleneagles

Ah haaaa...

olfactory nerve, optic nerve, oculomotor nerve, trochlear nerve, trigeminal nerve, abducens nerve, facial nerve, vestibulocochlear nerve, glossopharengeal nerve, vagus nerve, spinal accessory nerve, and hypoglossal nerve.

Except the v's seem to have been replaced by other letters?

Sad to say you may just have something there. He just had to duck out. images.jpg

Do you think he's gone to Blackpool?

@Minivanman I thought the bare feet were to let you get your big toe in your mouth....and for a Sunday treat.......:tongue:

No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

@Luzern

Nah, my fat belly would get in the way. Interesting idea though.

There are a variety of coded socks available

Clue 'nautical theme', think 'colours'.

Maybe @shutter  would be interested (if he hasn't already got some!).

Nah ... don`t need to code my socks... they are all black... all the same make/size , and all interchangeable... so I can never tell which is which from any original pair, so ... inside out... left and right,  doesn`t make sense to have different socks at all..  The only problem I have is when I put them in the wash, as "two`s"... ( not pairs you understand).  and at the end of the wash and spindry... there is an odd one... (until the next time... when magically it meets up with its mate again !)

Re: -I, I, 2, 3,10,11,T,L,i

I didn't consider socks, but I did consider sockets.

I have a weird brain obviously. :crazy:

Anyway as now all is as clear as mud, I shall go and rush around the field, barefoot, shouting

"Sock it to me, socket 2 me, socket -I me,  socks of different sizes too many. . ."

And I'm another who has black socks, all the same type.

Why complicate life?

So what was the bloody answer then? :sad:

Or have I missed something vital?

@Minivanman

I've got a pair in my drawer, given to me as a gift, probably purchased from the local RNLI shop (a charity).  :wink:
