Shocking - and November's supposed to be a quiet month for tornados.
I know this is weather not climate, but it is rather ironic that the horrific weather keeps hitting the areas of the US that aren't standing with their fingers in their ears chanting Lalala about climate change.
Thunderclap

Cool
I bet some hysterical lefty accedemic will be on Newsnight demanding green taxes are raised ever higher to enable preventable  typhoons, tornados and snow in winter. And then demand western governments take immediate policy action by holding a global summit in an exclusive third world beach resort. Thinks, is the real problem that people build their houses from sustainable materials, like wood?

At least eight dead and thousands without power as tornadoes hit midwest
Sixty-five tornadoes swept through Illinois, killing six people, with entire towns locked down and state of emergency declared
Hundreds of thousands of homes were left without power across large parts of the midwest on Monday, after a fast-moving storm system spawned scores of tornadoes, flattening neighbourhoods and leaving at least eight people dead.
