How could this happen...?

... I thought the barriers were strong enough to prevent such an accident.

I assume his car somehow flipped over the barrier.

Whatever happened it had to be a lot more than just a glancing blow.

Also if the post the barrier is affixed to is defective for some reason then it will not offer any resistance to a vehicle colliding with it. Add to that any previous damage from any other incidents..

What I'm saying is that in an ideal world things don't go wrong but there is always a gotcha somewhere.

I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

I guess they are strong enough, but they are only as good as the guys that concrete them in or whatever.

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
