Re: How can I get my hands on a legacy mug

Screw Cafepress, go to a huge glass-maker place and order millions of them! Tongue
Could sell some to local pubs too, with the web address printed underneath the logo. Great marketing I tell thee!
Don't make me come down to Sheffield and campaign for them lol.

They are slightly different in that we have to bulk purchase a load of stock and try and sell that on.  With Cafe Press, they are made on demand.  I'll look further though.

http://www.barrittglassprint.co.uk/index.htm Minimum quantity 48 glasses... I reckon you should be able to shift that many to staff let alone us punters!  Grin

I just 'aquired' a very nice cider glass 'Bulmers draught over ice'. Don't know if you have seen them Barry but they are a slightly oversized pint glass, the pint mark is about 1.25 inches (yes I still talk in imperial) below the lip.  So you can have your pint with some ice or an extra belt of jollop! gorgeous size and weight, hmmm... Oh dear, I think I am giving too much away about my love of good beer glasses.

My favourite beer glass is either the one in the photo below or my 1 litre ceramic beer stein. Cheesy

Well I guess it is each to his own and I would drink from that... but... for me, it breaks both the golden rules of a great glass to drink from.
1. It has a handle.
2. The glass is way too thick, the thinner the better.
Personally I will only drink from a jug if I have no other option!

I'm with God on that one.
Who's going to tell Chris that someone appears to have p***ed in his glass?

Surely that's not your favourite... surely one like that full of beer would be your favourite Wink
