Hot Water Motorised Valve

I was having trouble with the motorised valve supplying my hot water.
The valve was opening part way and not switching on the pump or boiler.
My solution in the past has been to replace the valve at a cost of at least £50.
I spotted this valve replacement motor in B&Q at £19.99 and thought it was worth a try for that kind of saving.
I then saw this replacement motor in Screwfix at £13.49...and even bigger saving.
It took me 5 minutes to swap the motor and it's working a treat

Re: Hot Water Motorised Valve

I've only just recently purchased something off Ebay after a long abstinence and am still wary of it.
However I knew someone would find a cheaper source Wink

Re: Hot Water Motorised Valve

As they are owned by B&Q (Block & Quayle) I think so too Smiley
