Home grown tatties

Just about to harvest my FIRST home grown tatties.  Smiley
I got the seed tatties from Poundland and the "sack" (Hessian type) from Home Bargains earlier this year. This is my first forage into the world of growing veg so not sure what to expect. I have 4 sets of 3 planted at different times so I get a bit of "spread" in their readiness.
Also got 7 tomato plants that I think are part triffid  Shocked They are over 5' tall and just starting to fruit now - I LOVE tomms  Grin

Lips are sealed
First earlies all finished - Rocket - started under two layers of fleece
Second earlies all harvested - Lady Christi - about quarter of the way through them

Re: Home grown tatties

My dad always grew them but until recently I haven't grown my own. I started last year with tomms and had a late crop (November!)
I don't have much space so am using the 40l "container" growing method - my first time with this and it seems to be working - well until I harvest them I won’t know but they looked ok.  Grin
