Hello 'ello

Sorry not been around here much this year - so I thought I woud drop by - and low - lots of familiar names still.
for those that know me - my heath is still holding up the cancer hormone drugs are doing their thing just fine and its well under control for now - so much so that specialist at last meeting said I've done much better than she expected when i was diagnosed ( not sure how to take that !!! ) and that she doesnt want to see me for 6 months instead of the usual 3, as long as i get the normal batch of about 10 blood tests in june.  Cheesy
Hope everyone is well and keeping busy.
Mal

Re: Hello 'ello

Thanks for your messages folks - good to see you again.
I must try to be more regular on here and spend less time on the cancer forums.
My Broadband news - if you can call it that - I moved house a few months ago to a temporary place and am moving on again to yet another hopefully more permenant.
Of course I brought Plusnet with me - so i phoned the house move team - and i have to say i recieved superb service from the guys in sheffield, and even openreach stepped up to the mark and did the reinstall in the new place and broadband was up and running straight away and the BT techie got his laptop out and his special ADSL test box and did all the tests on the lines, all worked fine and the line settled down to about 10M .
I phoned Sheffield again the other day and booked the next move and Marc was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Lets hope Openreach do the same with their bit in about 10 days and i have minimal down time.

Have to say that they aren't places I visit albeit it's nearly 4 years since I first showed symptoms of bladder cancer.
I do make a monthly donation, by DD, to Cancer Research UK and follow news of latest developments in treatment.

Re: Hello 'ello

As you know Mal I had radical surgery in June 2009 and I was lucky and, to date, my 6 monthly scans have been clear.
My main source of urology contact is Macmillan funded nurse and she's a fantastic person.
